Chad’s connection with the automotive industry began at a very young age. Between the ages of 10 and 16, he spent Saturdays and school holidays working beside his father in the family workshop. Those early years gave him practical hands-on experience and sparked the passion for mechanical work that would shape his career.
After leaving school, Chad continued his apprenticeship journey across several respected workshops. He spent two years at Pratt’s Garage, followed by six months at Carmo, a well-known Citroën dealership in Cardiff. He then joined Freefit in Cardiff, where he worked for eight years and developed broad experience across servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repairs.
Building experience in Australia
Seeking broader experience, Chad relocated to Australia and joined Chatswood Brake and Clutch in Sydney, where he worked for three and a half years before moving to Brisbane.
For the next 22 years, Chad became a familiar and trusted member of the team at LeMans Motors Bulimba. Many long-standing customers searching for or referring to “LeMans Bulimba” knew Chad as a familiar and trusted technician, while customers from Bulimba and greater Brisbane came to know him for his technical knowledge, reliability and customer-first approach.

Today, Chad proudly owns and operates Eagle Farm Auto Care at 1113 Kingsford Smith Drive. He brings more than 40 years of mechanical experience to the workshop and leads a skilled team known for professional workmanship, patience, clear communication and courteous service.
