A fault code is a starting point—not a complete diagnosis

Diagnostic trouble codes identify the system that detected an abnormal condition. They do not automatically prove which component has failed. Correct fault finding may require checking power supplies, earths, wiring, network communication, sensor signals, actuator operation, mechanical condition and software information.

Our process is designed to avoid unnecessary parts replacement. After initial testing, we explain what has been confirmed, what remains uncertain and whether further testing or repair is recommended.

Frequently Asked Questions

Helpful Information Before Booking.

Contact the workshop for advice specific to your vehicle, operating conditions or fleet requirements.

Can you diagnose an intermittent fault?+

Often, but intermittent faults can require extended testing, repeat visits or testing while the fault is present. We will explain the limitations before proceeding.

Does the diagnostic fee include repairs?+

Diagnostic time covers testing and assessment. Repair costs are quoted separately once the likely cause and required work are understood.

Can you clear warning lights?+

Codes can be cleared after assessment, but simply clearing a fault does not repair its cause. Warning lights may return until the underlying problem is resolved.
